چکیده
In the title chalcone derivative, C(20)H(22)O(6), the dihedral angle between the mean planes of the benzene rings is 15.77 (6)°. The H atoms of the central C=C double bond are in a trans configuration. There are a number of C-H⋯O interactions and a C-H⋯π interaction present in the crystal structure.

The mol-ecule of the title chalcone derivative, C(21)H(20)O(5), consists of two substituted aromatic rings bridged by a prop-2-en-1-one group. The dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 28.7 (7)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into C(10) chains running along the a axis by inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, and the chains are cross-linked via C-H⋯π inter-actions.

The title compound, C(19)H(20)O(5), was synthesized by reaction of 4-meth-oxy-acetophenone and 3,4,5-trimeth-oxy-benzaldehyde. The aromatic rings form a dihedral angle of 36.39 (7)°. Two intramolecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds occur. The crystal packing features weak C-H⋯O inter-actions.
